Approvals allow you to manage work items that need to be approved before they can move to the next status in their workflow.
This can be useful for various types of work, including the following:
Marketing content might need to be approved by brand and legal teams before publication.
Multiple stakeholders, including the technical lead, product manager, and security team, might need to approve software changes of a certain complexity.
Project deliverables may need to be approved by the client stakeholder before being marked as complete.
You can add an approval step to any status in a company-managed project's workflow. How to manage workflows in Jira
承認の仕組み
You must be an admin to set up approvals in Jira. Here’s what happens once you've added an approval step to a workflow status:
A team member creates a work item.
The work item transitions to a status that has an approval step.
The designated approvers are notified via email that they need to approve or decline the work item.
The approvers approve or decline the work item directly within Jira, adding any necessary comments or feedback.
The work item transitions to the next status in the workflow, and the person who created the work item is notified of any comments that the approver added.
The approvals feature is only available on Premium editions in Jira.
