バージョンのリリースは、チームが懸命に行った作業の集大成です。それは何ヶ月にもわたる数多くのイテレーションで行った作業の成果という場合もあります。イテレーション マネージャーとして、リリースの作業がすべて完了していることを確認し、バージョンをリリースするために必要な活動を調整するのが役目となります。

As described in Configuring versions in a Scrum space and Configuring versions in a Kanban space, versions are handled differently in Scrum and Kanban spaces. A version in a Scrum project is pre-planned and is released when the planned work is complete. In a Kanban space, a version can be released at any time — the version will contain all work items that are complete at that time.
