Along with functions like dependencies, you can indicate the order in which your work is to be completed by ranking issues. In order to rerank issues on your timeline, you need to sort issues by Rank. Read more about sorting issues
Your plan displays an issue’s ranking in the Work Item column under #. Ranking only applies to the highest hierarchy level displayed in your plan; child issues are unaffected by this order.
To change the ranking of issues in your plan, move an issue to a new row by either dragging and dropping it to its new place, or by selecting it and choosing Move from the Bulk actions menu that appears. Find out how to edit multiple issues in bulk on your timeline.
