What is the “For you” page in Jira?
The For you page is designed to bring your most relevant work and updates into one place. It highlights work items that need your attention, conversations you should respond to, and shortcuts back to things you’ve recently worked on.
View the For you page
To get to the For you page, start in Jira and select For you from the sidebar navigation.
At the top of the page, you can view a list of recommended spaces, or select View all spaces to see them all. Select a space to go to it.
If you’re new to Jira, we’ll then show you a list of suggested spaces and teams to join, based on who invited you to Jira or what’s popular.
If you’ve used Jira before, you’ll see a few different tabs with suggestions to help you resume work and stay on top of any recent updates.
What you’ll find on each tab
Recommended
This is a tailored feed of the most relevant updates and suggested next steps for you. It has multiple sections, depending on what kind of work you do in Jira. You might see a combination of the following:
Review work due soon: shows incomplete work items with upcoming due dates.
Reply to mentions: shows comments that mention you.
Reply to comments: shows comments on work items assigned to you.
Approve waiting work - shows work items where you are assigned as an approver.
Review pull request - shows pull requests assigned to you for review.
Hover over a work item in any of these sections and select it to view it in a side panel. From there, you can review its details, make updates, and add comments without losing your place.
If your site has Rovo features enabled, you might see options like Summarize comments (to get the context of a thread) and Suggest a reply (to draft a response you can refine before posting).
Assigned to me
Shows work items assigned to you that aren’t done yet. Select a work item to open it in full-page view.
Starred
Shows spaces you’ve starred for quick access. Select a space to view it, or select the star to remove a space from your starred list.
Worked on
Shows work items you’ve recently updated. Select a work item to open it in full-page view.
Viewed
Shows spaces and work items you’ve recently viewed. Select one to open it in full-page view.
