This page refers to the timeline view in Jira Software and not your plan, the cross-project planning tool only available as part of Jira Software Cloud Premium and Enterprise.
Unless otherwise noted, the timeline view in Jira Software is the same for both company-managed and team-managed projects.
Easily monitor the progress of your project from your timeline view by enabling the progress bar. The bar that appears beneath a parent issue’s name indicates the progress of child issues. Learn more about the progress bar.
To enable or disable the progress bar on your timeline:
From your timeline, navigate to the View settings menu at the top-right of your view.
Under the More details heading, select the Progress box.
