Add users and agents to space roles in your space
When your Jira admin configures your space, they can create space roles, then assign permissions to them. As a Space admin, you can then add people or autonomous agents to these roles and grant them limited capabilities within your space. More about space roles
You must be a Space admin to perform these steps.
To add users to a space role:
Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
Select People if you’re in a company-managed space, or Access in a team-managed space.
Select Add people to add a person, or Add agents to add an agent.
Add names or email addresses for people, or search for and select an agent. Then, choose the space role you’d like them to have.
Select Add to save.
Only agents with an Agent's account can be added from the Access page. Read more about agent account configuration
You can use the same process to add users, agents, or groups to the Administrators role. If you'd like to give users restricted access to your space (so they can only view work items they're assigned to, for example), you can ask your administrator to create a new space role.
If you need to add an external collaborator with limited access, ask your admin to invite them as a guest. Learn what guests are and how to manage them
