Use smart replies in work item comments

Smart replies are short, pre-populated comments you can add to work items with the touch of a button.

To use smart replies

1. Select a work item.

2. Scroll down to the comment box.

3. Select one of the smart replies to auto-add it to the comment box. (Scroll sideways to view any additional smart reply options.)

4. Either type more information within the comment box, or select Save to publish the comment to the work item.

To disable smart replies

If you don’t want to use a smart reply, simply start typing in the work item’s comment box, and the smart replies will disappear.

To disable* the feature (affecting everyone in your Jira instance):

1. Go to (settings).

2. Select System settings.

3. Select Edit settings.

4. Next to Smart replies, select Off.
