Plan and view work across multiple teams, projects, and releases with Advanced Roadmaps.
This page refers to Advanced Roadmaps, which is a cross-project planning tool only available as part of Jira Software Cloud Premium and Enterprise.
We have a separate section for documentation about the project roadmap that’s included in all Jira Software plans. Go to the documentation for project-level roadmaps in Jira Software.
The Dependencies report in Advanced Roadmaps displays issues from your plan as tiles with arrows to illustrate which issues are dependent on others. To open this view, select Dependencies report from the view dropdown menu next to your plan name.
The Dependencies report is a view-only tool. Switching to this view will not change your plan.
The solid gray arrow between issues indicates their relationship and shows that these dependencies have no warnings or errors.
If the dependency generates a warning, such as misaligned dates, the arrow will turn red:
To turn the arrow back to gray, return to your roadmap and resolve the corresponding error. You can easily locate the issue in your roadmap by navigating to the on the issue tile then selecting Locate issue in roadmap.
Advanced Roadmaps also offers ways to filter and focus your Dependencies report, which you can learn about on the Refine the dependencies report in Advanced Roadmaps page.
