How your plan rolls up estimates

Unlike dates, which are treated the same as manually assigned values, rolled up estimates in your plan are dynamic and reflect how much work remains to be done. As such, rolled-up estimate in a top-level issue decreases as you log time to child issues.
When your plan rolls up estimates, it rounds values to one decimal place when using story points, and two decimal places when using hours and days. These generated values will replace any predefined or manually-entered estimate values while still respecting the groups and color settings of your plan.
