Edit a board filter on a company-managed board

To edit a board filter used by your company-managed board:

  1. Next to your board’s name in the sidebar, select more actions (•••), then Board settings.

  2. On the General page under the Board filter section, select Edit Filter Query.

  3. Either edit your JQL query or select Switch to basic to switch to a JQL creation tool.

  4. Once you make a change, you’ll then have the option to save your new filter. If you weren’t the original creator of the filter, you’ll only be able to Save as. In which case, you’ll need to give it a new name before saving.

Another way you can edit a board filter for your scrum board is by:

  1. From the backlog in your scrum board, select More actions () in the top right corner, then Configure board.
