View and manage agent sessions in Jira

The agents section on the For You page allows you to track and manage all the work your agents are doing in Jira. From one central place, you can see every running session, every blocked agent, and every output waiting on review, surfaced and grouped by what needs your attention next.

Before you begin

  • Rovo must be activated on your site. More about Rovo access

  • Make sure you have agent sessions running (by either assigning work items to agents, using them in workflows or automations, or mentioning them in comments).

Find your agent sessions

To view all your agent sessions in Jira:

  1. Start in a Jira software or business space.

  2. Select For you from the sidebar.

  3. Select My agent sessions.

Here you can view all the agent sessions across your work items.

View your agent sessions

For each agent session, you’ll see the following details:

  • agent name

  • agent state (needs input, working, or finished)

  • work item key

  • work item summary

  • time last updated (for example, 45 mins ago or yesterday)

Sessions are shown in the order that they were last updated, with the most recent sessions at the top of the list.

Filter agent sessions

Agent sessions are grouped by the following states:

  • Needs input: Sessions where an agent has paused because they need an action or more information from you.

  • Working: Sessions from agents currently working on a task.

  • Finished: Sessions that are now complete and ready for review.

Use the filter at the top of the list to select a single state, or select All sessions to view every session from all agents across your spaces.

If there are agents that need your input, you’ll see a lozenge next to the group name indicating how many sessions need your review.

View a session in more detail

Select a session to open the relevant work item in the preview panel. There, you can review the agent’s work, make changes, add comments, and keep work moving forward.
