View insights in Jira Cloud

This data-driven feature helps you adapt existing processes, drive better outcomes, and plan with confidence.

Insights are currently available for scrum metrics in both company-managed and team-managed projects (formerly classic and next-gen). Learn more about scrum metrics.

You can find the insights button on your Board, Backlog, and Deployments view, for easy reference while you plan or progress your work.

Insights continue to grow. Here’s an example of a board with all insights enabled and active:

1. Insight menu: To refresh your data, select the circular arrow icon at the top of the panel. You can use the dropdown arrow to switch from a current to future planned sprint.

2. Insight: Each insight is separated into its own card. Insights include callouts alongside a visualization related to the metric. Select the help icon to quickly find further information about an insight, such as its definition, benefit, and use.

3. Feedback card: Provide feedback about insights so we can help make this feature bigger and better.
