Edit issues via the more menu in the backlog

You can perform the following actions on multiple selected issues in the backlog, including:

  • Add or remove flags

  • Add details to, or change the following fields:

    • Parent

    • Assignee (limit of 50 issues at a time)

    • Priority (limit of 50 issues at a time)

    • Estimate (limit of 50 issues at a time)

    • Labels (limit of 50 issues at a time)

  • Move

    • to the top of the backlog

    • to the bottom of the backlog

    • to sprints or spaces within the backlog

  • View as a list in issue search (also known as the project issue navigator)

  • Archive

  • Delete

To make a bulk change to issues in the backlog:

  1. Select issues while holding Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple at once.

  2. On any of the selected issues, right-click and select Bulk change.

  3. Select the action you’d like to perform.

Some actions may not appear in the menu if they have a limitation, in which case you may need to adjust the number of items you’ve selected. You may also require permissions for some actions to appear (like the delete and archive actions).
