Create and edit dashboards
You can create and customize your own dashboard to display the information you need.
You must have the following to do the things described on this page.
Role: App admin
Create a dashboard
From your Jira project, select Dashboards from your sidebar.
Select Create dashboard (). Give your dashboard a name and description so your team knows when to use it.
Fill out the remaining fields and select Save.
To change your dashboard's sharing permissions, from the Dashboard, select More actions (), then Rename or share.
If your project or group isn’t listed in the Viewers or Editors field, start typing keywords to search.
Choose a dashboard layout
To choose a different layout for your dashboard page (three columns instead of two, for example):
From your Jira project, select Dashboards from your sidebar.
Select the relevant dashboard, then Edit.
Select Change layout.
Choose your preferred layout.
Manage gadgets
Gadgets help make the most out of your dashboard by pulling through specific information, via filters and data points.
To add, rearrange, remove, and configure gadgets, go to add and customize gadgets.
Rename or share your dashboard
You can edit the details for your dashboard, and restrict or share with other users according to the permissions that are set.
From your Jira project, select Dashboards from your sidebar.
Select View all dashboards.
Choose your dashboard, then select More (•••), and Rename or share.
Edit the settings and select Save.
Move a dashboard to trash
Trashed dashboards can only be restored by a Jira admin, and are permanently deleted from your site after 60 days. More about restoring dashboards.
From your Jira project, select Dashboards from your sidebar.
Select your dashboard in the sidebar.
Select More (•••), then Move to trash.
Select Move to trash to confirm.
