Forms allow you to collect information and capture work from other teams or stakeholders.
You can create different types of forms to receive different types of work from your stakeholders.
You can create as many forms as you need for your project.
Forms can be used to:
Help people outside your immediate team send work to your project team.
Collect the right information from other teams and stakeholders from the organization.
Gather feedback or ideas on your team’s work.
When someone submits a form, their responses will automatically create a work item in the same project.
If the user submitting the form doesn’t have permission to create work within your project, the project lead becomes the creator instead.
When you create a form, you need to select which type of work item will be created in your project when a form is submitted.
Each type includes different form fields options, depending on the information you want to collect. You will be able to select any work item from within your project, except for subtasks.
Your project will only show other work types if you have more than one for your project.
