Share Jira dashboards in Confluence

Share your team’s Jira dashboard in Confluence using Smart Links. You can add a dashboard Smart Link to the content tree in the left-side navigation area. You can also add a dashboard or an individual gadget to a page, blogpost, whiteboard, or database.

Sharing a dashboard

Select the link icon () in the dashboard’s top section. This copies a web address (known as a URL) to your clipboard. That URL links back to the entire dashboard.

Share it in the content tree

There are two ways to add a Smart Link to the content tree.

• Select Create in the main navigation, then Smart Link. This will create in the space you are currently in or will default to your personal space/whichever space you have edit permissions.

• Select the plus icon () in the Content section of the space sidebar, then Smart Link. This will create the Smart Link in the content tree directly where you want it.

After selecting Smart Link, you’ll be prompted for a URL. Paste the Jira dashboard link and select Add Smart Link to finish.

Share it in a page, blogpost, whiteboard, or database

Create a new content item or edit an existing item.

Paste the link you copied from the dashboard. It will render as a Smart Link in embed view.

Sharing a gadget

You can share an individual gadget by selecting the link icon in the upper right corner of the gadget. This copies a web address (known as a URL) to your clipboard. That URL links back to that specific Jira gadget.

Share it in the content tree
