Set up Jira Coding agent in your organization
Jira Coding Agent generates code directly from a work item based on its details.
Jira Coding Agent is automatically activated if AI features are set up for Jira. Rovo is not available in Atlassian Government organizations
You must have the following to do the things described in this section.
Role: Organization admin
Turn Jira Coding Agent on or off
To get started with Jira Coding Agent:
Go to Atlassian Administration
If you have multiple organizations, select the site you want to set up with Jira Coding Agent.
From the side navigation, select Rovo, then Rovo access.
Manage which apps have access to Rovo. To block an app’s access, select Add app and choose an available app. To unblock an app, select Remove.
You can change this setting at any time.
Compliance and data privacy
The Jira Coding Agent has completed the external assessment and compliance certifications for SOC 2 and ISO 27001. View Rovo privacy and usage guidelines
The agent doesn't currently meet HIPAA, BYOK, or data residency compliance.
