We're updating our terminology in Jira
'Issue' is changing to 'work item'. You might notice some inconsistencies while this big change takes place.
Use custom project templates
Custom project templates are an exclusive Enterprise plan feature
Reduce project setup time by reusing settings from existing projects. Only Jira administrators can create and use a custom project template.
With custom project templates you can:
Share company-managed project settings (boards and shortcuts are copied)
Copy team-managed project settings
Settings included in custom project templates:
Boards, Work types, Fields, Workflows, Roles, Notifications, Permissions, Shortcuts, Issue Security
Not included:
Apps, Automations, Work items from the source project, Enabled features, Feature settings
Custom templates use the source project’s custom navigation (such as hidden or added views) and shortcut links.
