Why you can’t schedule your Opsgenie migration?
If you’re unable to schedule your Opsgenie migration to Jira Service Management or Compass, there may be specific reasons preventing you from proceeding.
Check if your organization has an assigned billing admin
To migrate from Opsgenie, your organization must have a billing admin who manages payments for your Jira Service Management or Compass subscription. If your Atlassian account doesn’t have a billing admin assigned, migration can’t proceed. Work with your team to add one.
Your plan migration button is disabled
There are several reasons why the Plan your migration button may appear disabled. The migration tool ensures that your account is ready before allowing you to proceed.
You need to migrate your Opsgenie account to an Atlassian account. Opsgenie migration is only available for Atlassian accounts.

You’re unsure when to schedule your migration
Choosing the right time to schedule your migration can be tricky. However, you can use your Opsgenie renewal date as a reference point.
Plan your migration before your next Opsgenie renewal date to avoid paying for an additional billing cycle.
Your Opsgenie account will enter suspension mode on the migration date, and you’ll start using Jira Service Management or Compass immediately.
The Opsgenie migration tool isn’t available yet
The migration tool is rolling out in phases, and some customers may not have access yet.
If the migration tool isn’t available for your account, you’ll see a message in your Opsgenie settings. Keep checking back, as you’ll be notified once migration becomes available for you.
Once you resolve the issue preventing migration, return to Settings > Migrate Opsgenie and proceed with scheduling your migration.
