End of sales and support for Opsgenie

Analytics and reporting after migration

Analytics and reporting features in Opsgenie have transitioned to Jira Service Management and Compass with minimal changes. While most reporting capabilities remain available, some reports have been deprecated. 

Migration summary

Is this feature fully available in all Jira Service Management and Compass plans?

Analytics and reporting for Operations are available in Jira Service Management Premium and Enterprise plans, and Compass Premium plans. Some reports from Opsgenie are no longer supported and aren’t available in Jira Service Management or Compass.

Is this feature auto-synced after data migration?

Most reporting data is automatically available after migration. However, historical data from deprecated reports isn’t migrated.

Are there required actions for full workflow parity?

If you relied on any of the deprecated reports, you may need to explore alternative reporting options in Compass or Jira Service Management incident data. 

For certain reports, we offer the following alternative solutions:

  • Post Incident Analysis Report and Postmortem Report: Jira Service Management already includes the functionality to generate these reports. You can access reporting data through Atlassian Analytics.

  • User Management Report: For any analysis related to user status, you can utilize Identity.

Deprecated reports

The following reports aren’t available after migration. You can access them in Opsgenie, until your Opsgenie is permanently shut down after migration.

  • API Rate Limit

  • Past ICC Session

Analytics and reporting in Jira Service Management

In Jira Service Management, analytics and reporting remain available at both site-level Operations and team-level Operations.

  • Site-level reports can be accessed from Operations > General configuration > Reports.

  • Team-based reports are available in each team’s Operations page.

Compass provides the same analytics structure as Jira Service Management.

  • Team-based reports are accessible within each team’s Operations page.
