Summarize comments using Rovo

Save time and get the information you need to engage with teammates faster with a Rovo generated comment summary.

The summary is proactively generated when certain minimum threshold logic is met, specifically focused on unresolved general and inline comments.

AI is available and automatically activated for all apps on Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans. Organization admins can manage AI preferences from Settings, then AI-enabled apps in Atlassian Administration.

AI isn’t available for Atlassian Government apps.

Summarize general and in-line unresolved comments with Rovo

  1. If you’re not already there, navigate to Confluence via the app switcher ()

  2. Select Show comments from the bottom right floating menu.

  3. At the top of the comments panel, Rovo will generate a summary of the general and inline unresolved comments on the page, blog, or live document.

  4. Select the arrow to expand or collapse the generated summary.

You can copy the summary to your clipboard, update it to include new comments as they’re added, rate the quality of the summary, and provide feedback on the feature.

Rovo will only generate a summary if there are at least three unresolved comments (general or inline) or overall comment size for those comments is more than 500 characters. Summaries will show up only for tenants with English locale. Rovo won’t generate summaries for content that have comments that appear to violate Atlassian’s Acceptable Use Policy.
