Each Confluence space has a space key, which is a short, unique identifier that forms part of the URL for that space.
When you create a space, a unique space key will be automatically generated for you based on the space name, but you can choose to change it.
If you decide to customize your space key, remember that each space key:
Must be unique.
Can contain any alphanumeric character (a-z, 0-9).
Can be up to 255 characters long.
You can't change the space key after you create your space, so choose your space key carefully!
