Manage legacy pages and templates with space admin tool
Confluence Cloud space admins can now use a dedicated tool to view a list of legacy pages and templates in their space. This tool helps you plan for the deprecation of the legacy editor. It shows you which content is eligible for conversion, which contains unsupported content, and which may require attention.
What are legacy pages and templates?
A legacy page or template is content that was previously migrated from Confluence Server or Data Center to Confluence Cloud. The legacy editor will be phased out starting January 2026. Learn more about the legacy editor deprecation.
What does the admin tool do?
Space admins can export a CSV list of all legacy pages and templates in a space to see which pages and templates are eligible for conversion to the new editor and identify content with unsupported elements.
How to use the legacy content admin tool

Go to the space in Confluence Cloud.
Next to your space's name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
Open the General menuand select Legacy content.
Select the content type (pages or templates).
Select Export CSV.
What information is included?

Understanding eligibility status
Each page or template is assigned an eligibility status:
Note: If auto-convert is enabled, users will view these pages in the new editor, but they’re still stored as legacy until edited and published. These auto-converted pages will still appear in this report.
Eligibility Status | What it means |
|---|---|
Supported | Can be converted to the new editor. If auto-convert is enabled, this will happen automatically. |
Unsupported | Cannot be auto-converted. Manual conversion may be possible, but some content might not be editable. Unsupported sections will be visible when viewing the page, but not editable; the rest of the page will remain fully editable and viewable. |
Error | An error occurred when determining the eligibility status, or the status is unknown. Review the page for any errors and try manual conversion. |
