Learn about macros on Confluence mobile

The Confluence mobile app has support for a subset of macros available on web. Most macros can be viewed from a page on Confluence mobile, and behave similarly to those on the web.

Add, edit, or delete macros

To add new macros or edit macros, you’ll need to use the web editing experience. Changes you make to macros via web editing will be displayed for mobile users.

Macros can be deleted while editing in mobile. To delete a macro:

1. Ensure your page is in editing mode.

2. Tap to the right or just below the macro.

3. Tap backspace until the macro is deleted.

Most other macros are partially supported on mobile. You might see a placeholder for these macros on the page – tap them to open a new screen where you can view and interact with the macro.

Will more macros be supported on mobile in the future?
