View status of anonymous access to remote API
Confluence administrators may wish to disable anonymous access to the Confluence Cloud remote API, to make it harder for malicious users to write "bots" that perform bulk changes to the instance.
This setting is disabled by default. To change the setting for anonymous access to the Confluence Cloud remote API — raise a support request.
To view the current status of anonymous access to the remote API:
If you aren’t already there, go to your Confluence Cloud instance.
Select the wheel icon () in the top-right corner to open Confluence administration.
Find Settings > Security in the left-hand navigation.
Select Security configuration.
Select Advanced to view settings that can only be changed by Atlassian support.
