What does Opsgenie offer Wavefront users?
Use Integration to forward alerts to . acts as a dispatcher for these alerts and determines the right people to notify based on on-call schedules– notifies via email, text messages (SMS), phone calls, and iPhone & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed.
Functionality of the integration
When an alert is fired by , an alert is created in automatically through the integration.
When an alert is resolved in , the alert will be closed in automatically through the integration.
Add Wavefront Integration in Opsgenie
Go to . Search for and select Add.
Specify who is notified of alerts using the Responders field. Auto-complete suggestions are provided as you type.
Copy the Webhook URL.
Select Save Integration.
Configuration in Wavefront
In , click Browse in the top menu.
Select Web Hooks.
Click Create on the upper right side of the page.
Fill the "Title" field and choose Alert Opened and Alert Resolved as Triggers.
Paste API URL into the "URL" field.
Select application/json for the "Content Type" field.
Fill the "Web Hook POST Body Template" field or select Default Template.
Fill the "Description*" field.
