Integrate Opsgenie with Thundra

What does Opsgenie offer for Thundra users?

Use Opsgenie Thundra Integration to forward Thundra alerts to Opsgenie. Opsgenie determines the right people to notify based on on-call schedules– using email, text messages (SMS), phone calls and iOS & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed.

Functionality of the integration

When an alert is created in Thundra, an alert is created in Opsgenie automatically through the integration.

Add Thundra Integration in Opsgenie

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations. Search for Thundra and select Add

Under the Free and Essentials plans, the tabs under the Team dashboard are limited to Main, Integrations, Members, and Activity Stream.

2. Specify who is notified of Thundra alerts using the Responders field. Auto-complete suggestions are provided as you type.

Did you know that you can also add this integration from your team dashboard? 

If you want your team to be the owner of this integration, add it from your team dashboard. Opsgenie will assign the alerts received through this integration to your team only.

To do that:

  1. Go to Teams,

  2. Find your team and select it to go to your team dashboard,

  3. From your team navigation, select Integrations,

  4. Select Add integration.

3. Copy the API Key.

4. Click Save Integration.

Configuration in Thundra

  1. Go to Opsgenie tab from Settings page in Thundra.

  2. Paste API Key you copied from Opsgenie to the Opsgenie API Key field.

3. Then, save an alert policy and select Opsgenie from Notification preferences. You can save alert policy from Functions, Traces or Invocations pages in Thundra.

4. Click Save.
