What does Opsgenie offers to Dynatrace users?
Use OpsGenie's integration to send alerts to API with detailed information. acts as a dispatcher for these alerts, determines the right people to notify based on on-call schedules, notifies via email, text messages (SMS), phone calls, and iPhone & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed.
Functionality of the integration
When an alert is created on , an alert is created in automatically through the integration.
This version of Dynatrace integration has limited functionality. Check Dynatrace Webhook integration for enhanced functionalities.
Add Dynatrace Integration in Opsgenie
Go to . Search for and select Add.
Specify who is notified of alerts using the Responders field. Auto-complete suggestions will be provided as you type.
Copy the API URL.
Select Save Integration.
Remember to save the integration before attempting a test run - the integration must be saved on the user's end before it is able to be tested.
Configuration in Dynatrace
In app, open Settings > Integration > Problem Notifications.
Click Set up notifications.
3. Click Opsgenie Integration.
4. Paste to the API key field.
5. Populate the other fields then send a test notification and save the Integration.
