Enterprise Power-Up Administration

Enterprise Power-Up Administration allows administrators to control which Power-Ups are allowed to be added to boards within the Enterprise. This feature also gives visibility into which Power-Ups are currently in-use within the Enterprise and how many boards they’re used on.

Turning on Power-Up Administration

By default, Power-Up Administration is turned off. This means Enterprise members can add any Power-Ups to any boards within your Enterprise.

Turning on Power-Up Administration will:

  1. Immediately disallow all Power-Ups that are not currently in use on any boards within your Enterprise, meaning Enterprise members will not be able to add any of those Power-Ups to any boards (Disallowed Power-Ups can then be made allowed by an admin as desired).

  2. Keep all in-use Power-Ups allowed (Allowed Power-Ups can then be disallowed by an admin as desired).

To turn on Power-Up Administration, from the Enterprise dashboard, go to the the Power-Ups page, and then click Turn on Power-Up Administration.

Disallowing Power-Ups

If you don’t want members of your Enterprise to be able to add a certain Power-Up to any Trello boards, you can disallow the Power-Up. You can do so in one of two ways:

  1. To disallow one Power-Up at a time, click the info icon in the row for the Power-Up you want to disallow. In the resulting fly-out, click “Disallow Power-Up.” 

  2. To disallow multiple Power-Ups, select one or more Power-Ups using their corresponding checkboxes. Click Change Permissions…, and then from the resulting fly-out, click "Not Allowed."

Allowing Power-Ups

If you want members of your Enterprise to be able to add a certain Power-Up to their Trello boards, you can allow the Power-Up. You can do so in one of two ways:

  1. To allow one Power-Up at a time, click the info icon in the row for the Power-Up you want to allow. In the resulting fly-out, click “Allow Power-Up.”

  2. To allow multiple Power-Ups, select one or more Power-Ups using their corresponding checkboxes. Click Change Permissions…, and then from the resulting fly-out, click “Allowed.”

Turning Off Power-Up Administration

Turning off Power-Up Administration will allow any member of the Enterprise to enable any Power-Up(s) on any board within the Enterprise. It will also disable your ability to see which Power-Ups are currently in use within your Enterprise.

To turn off Power-Up Administration, in the upper right corner of the Power-Ups page on the Enterprise dashboard, click “Turn off Power-Up Administration.”
