Leaving a board in Trello

Leaving a board permanently removes you from the board. When you leave a board:

• You’ll be removed from all cards on the board

• Your comments will remain on the board

• You may not be able to access the board again without contacting a board admin

To leave a board:

1. Open the board and select Share

2. Select the Board members tab

3. Select Leave board from the dropdown next to your name

You can also leave a board from the board menu:

1. Open the board menu ()

2. Select Leave board

Leaving a board if you're the only admin

Trello won't let you leave a board if you're the only admin or member of that board. A board must always have at least one admin. If this happens, we'd recommend either closing the board or making another user an admin of it: Making a user an admin of a board
