Create a board

A board lets you make lists to organize your to-dos, thoughts, or other concepts. A board can contain multiple lists. Each list can contain cards.

Create a board

To create a board from anywhere in Trello:

  1. Select Create in the header

  2. Select Create Board

  3. Enter a title for your board

  4. Select the Workspace you want to create the board in

New boards default to Workspace visible. If you want your board to be private to only you and Workspace admins, you can set the board's visibility to Private before creating it.

All boards need to be in a Workspace. You can choose an existing Workspaces, or create a new Workspace if you don’t have any available.

Add a list to a board

A list can contain cards. Cards can be moved between lists, and the lists themselves can be rearranged for better organization. Select Add another list to add a new list to the right side of your board.

Add a list between two other lists

To add a list between two other lists, double-click between them.

Rename a list

To rename a list, select its name and enter a new one. Press enter to confirm the new name.
