Add a card
A card is the smallest and most detailed part of Trello. Add cards to represent to-dos, tasks, concepts, reminders, or anything that helps you stay organized.
Add a card

Press Enter to create the card
To add a card in the middle of a list:
Double-click between two cards
Type a name for the card
Press Enter to create the card
Add a card from a template
To add a card from a template:
Select the Create from template button at the bottom of a list
Choose the template you want
Type a name for the card

If you add the same checklists or description to a lot of cards, make a template to save time. Find more detail about creating card templates.
You can add up to 5,000 cards per board, but performance may suffer with more than 1,000 cards, especially with large attachments.
In order to add a card to a board, you'll need to be a member of that board. Depending on the board's settings, you may be able to join the board yourself. If not, ask one of the board members to invite you.
