Manage Rovo Standard access

Rovo Standard is currently in beta.

You won’t be charged for the Rovo Standard subscription during the beta. After beta ends, you’ll automatically return to Rovo Free unless you opt in to the paid Standard plan. You’ll have at least 90 days to decide. How to manage your bill for Rovo Standard

Rovo Standard lets people in your organization use Rovo even if they don’t have a paid subscription to Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management or other Atlassian apps that include Rovo Free.

You can think of it as offering Rovo as its own app to people who primarily use other tools to manage work.

What is Rovo Standard?

Give users access to Rovo Standard by assigning them relevant roles on your site. Monitor usage and Rovo Standard user counts across your organization.

Who can do this?

  • Role: Organization admins, Rovo Standard user access admin (can only assign user access for Rovo Standard)

  • Atlassian Cloud: Standard, Premium, Enterprise

  • Atlassian Government Cloud: Not available

Assign Rovo Standard roles to users

To give users access to Rovo Standard, you must assign them the Rovo Standard user role on each site they want access to Rovo on in your organization where they need access.

Assigning or removing Rovo Standard user roles from users who already have Rovo access through other paid Atlassian subscriptions won't affect their access to Rovo or change their subscription cost. Assigning the Rovo Standard user role won’t make those users Rovo Standard billable users.

Before you begin

Confirm that your Atlassian organization has subscribed to the Rovo Standard plan. The Rovo Standard user roles only become available for you to assign after your organization upgrades to Rovo Standard. How to upgrade to Rovo Standard

The Rovo user count on the Atlassian apps page and the Users page (when filtered by Rovo) includes all users assigned the Rovo Standard user role — whether they access Rovo as a Rovo Standard user or through other paid Atlassian subscriptions.

  1. Go to Atlassian Administration.

  2. Select Apps, then select User counts. There, you can find the user count of Rovo Standard users, which are billable users for the Rovo Standard subscription plan.

  3. Select View usage.

  4. On the Overview tab, see the user count of Rovo Standard users (those who don’t access Rovo as part of other Atlassian app subscriptions), the usage trend over the past 12 months, and other relevant information about your Rovo Standard plan.
