What are the benefits of DMARC?
Learn how setting up DMARC for your organization helps to keep emails secure and improve delivery rates.
Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change
Atlassian apps send multiple email notifications on a regular basis, for example when a user is assigned to an issue or someone adds a comment. Because these emails come from Atlassian, they have a sender email address with the atlassian.net domain.
We provide a way for emails that come from Jira apps and Confluence to appear like they’re coming directly from your company. To do this, you customize the sender email addresses with your company’s domain. This configuration complies with the standard for authenticating emails called Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC).
