We’re renaming ‘products’ to ‘apps’

Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change

Set backup schedule

We’re rolling out a new backup and restore experience for a limited number of customers on the Enterprise plan through an open beta program.

Backup and restore isn’t available in the Atlassian Government environment.

 

We recommend that you schedule your backups daily or weekly so that your data remains protected.

When you set a schedule, you can choose the date, and we’ll provide you with a time when the backup runs. You can’t choose the time because we have restrictions on running several backups and restores at the same time.

To schedule a backup:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Settings > Backup and restore.

  3. Select Create new policy.

  4. In the Policy name field, enter a name for the policy.

  5. Select the product.

  6. Include or exclude entities as needed.

  7. Select Set schedule.

  8. From the Frequency dropdown list:

    1. Select One-time if you want to run the backup once.

    2. Select Daily or Weekly if you want to run the backup in a daily or weekly schedule.

  9. Select the date when you want to run the backup. The backup date and time will load.

  10. Select Set Schedule.
