Users we move when you copy only users related to spaces you select
When you copy data from one instance of your Confluence product to another, you can copy a few spaces at a time. When you select spaces, you have the option to:
Copy all users and groups at once
Copy users and groups related to only the spaces you want to copy
Copying a few spaces at a time and copying users and groups for only those spaces enables you to move data:
in small chunks
in multiple phases
quicker and reduce your overall downtime.
When you copy users and groups related to the spaces you select, we copy all users who contribute to the spaces and some users who don’t directly contribute to the spaces. This table lists the type of users we copy.
