Delete your organization

If you have multiple organizations, you may want to delete the ones you no longer need.

You, or another admin, may have tested our products, resulting in creating an organization. When you then want to create a production version, you can delete the test organization, and create a new one with production data.

We recommend you back up any data that you want to keep before deleting the organization. Learn what to back up and how

Before we let you delete your organization, if you have any, you’ll have to remove all domains associated with the organization, and all products included in your active subscriptions. Learn how to remove domains and products from your organization

To delete your organization:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Back up any data that you want to keep.

  4. If you have domains associated with your organization, remove them.

  5. If you have products included in your active subscriptions, remove them.

  6. Select Delete organization.

Once you delete the organization, you'll receive an email notifying you of this. All other admins in your organization will also receive an email notifying them that you've deleted the organization.
