Improve the clarity of information in your work item descriptions using a generative AI prompt option which reviews and rewrites work item descriptions in a consistent, clear framework. |
Related Confluence content |
Get a list of related content from Confluence to link to your work items, so key information is always at your fingertips. The feature searches within Confluence respecting relevant access permissions and surfaces links to related content, which you can link to the work item to fully understand the work context needed to make progress. |
Create child work items |

Link similar work items |
Find and link work items similar to your existing work item to build context, connect past work, and understand complexity—so your team can plan and build with confidence. |
Link similar work items as you create (beta) |
As you create a new work item, Jira will use AI to automatically find and surface similar ones. You can then link existing work items to the one you’re creating. It helps you quickly build context, connect past work, and understand complexity from the start. |
Improve work item descriptions (beta) |
Improve the clarity of information in your work item descriptions using a generative AI prompt option that generates structured content from a pasted Confluence link using a consistent, clear framework. |
Create work items inline in the backlog (beta) |
Generate a list of suggested work items from a Confluence link or Loom, directly inline in the backlog. This feature supports cross-site linking and respects your access permissions to the Confluence content. When you accept a suggestion, a new work item is instantly created in the backlog. |
