Backup and restore isn’t available in the Atlassian Government environment.
Using Amazon S3 for storing backups is no longer available, except for customers who've used it in the past.
Atlassian Backup and Restore is available as an add-on subscription for the following apps:
Confluence
Jira Cloud
Jira Service Management

Who can purchase Atlassian Backup and Restore?
Atlassian Backup and Restore is available for purchase if:
you pay annually and have a Premium or Enterprise plan;
and, your app instances are within the supported limits.
To purchase the add-on, contact sales or your solution partner.
Supported limits
Supported data and attachment limits vary by app. The data limits below represent compressed database sizes.
If your Jira Cloud and Jira Service Management apps are on the same site, their data is backed up together. The aggregate data from both these apps is counted towards the data limit of 300 GB, attachment limit of 7 million, and user limit of 50K.

How does billing work for Atlassian Backup and Restore?
The pricing for Atlassian Backup and Restore depends on the number of users in your app. If your Jira Cloud and Jira Service Management apps are on the same site, the app with the highest user count determines the pricing.
You’ll need to purchase the add-on separately for Confluence and for the Jira family of apps. That is, if you purchase Atlassian Backup and Restore for Jira Cloud, you can use it for your Jira Service Management app too, but you’ll need to purchase a separate add-on for Confluence.
