Find out the details of a change

Release notes give you details about a change and when it's coming to your Atlassian apps. You can watch a release note to get updates about a certain change. Find release notes in App updates in Atlassian Administration.

Release note availability

Release notes for the following apps are available in App updates:

• Atlassian Administration

• Bitbucket Cloud

• Compass

• Confluence Cloud

• Jira Service Management Cloud

• Jira Cloud

• Opsgenie

Currently, Guard Detect, Loom, Trello, and Statuspage release notes aren’t included in app updates. Learn about Trello changes

Read a release note

To read a release note and know more details of a change:

1. Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.

2. Select Products > Product updates. Release notes are sorted based on the time of the last update to the status.

3. Select the release note you want to read. You can filter by apps or search for a specific release note.

Get notified about updates to a release note

You can choose to receive an email if the status or release timeframe change.

To watch a release note:

1. Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.

2. Select Products > Product updates.

3. Select the release note from the app updates list.

4. Turn on the Watch this release note toggle. To stop getting notified about a release note, turn off the Watch this release note toggle.
