Connect Salesforce to Teamwork Graph

The Salesforce connector is currently in beta and is subject to change.

Some features may be limited or unavailable for certain organizations.

You can use Teamwork Graph to search or chat across Salesforce accounts, opportunities, contacts, cases, and campaigns alongside your company knowledge. The Salesforce connector is a synced connector. It uses a Salesforce integration account to index your data and always respects Salesforce permissions.

何がインデックス化されますか?

The Salesforce connector indexes these objects:

  • アカウント数

  • 機会

  • 取引先責任者

  • Cases

  • Campaigns

Admins can configure which of these objects to ingest as well as which standard fields and custom fields to ingest for each object.

Object and field level admin controls only impact what data is ingested from Salesforce and do not impact what fields or objects a user can retrieve information from in Rovo Chat.

Rovo Chat now has the ability to query Salesforce directly in addition to querying data from Teamwork Graph. Permissions set in Salesforce will be respected.

This setting controls what data is synced from Salesforce into Atlassian for indexing and search. When you access Salesforce data through Rovo at runtime, your own Salesforce access is used.

Who can connect Salesforce to Teamwork Graph?

To connect Salesforce to Teamwork Graph, you must:

  • Be a Salesforce admin (for example, a System Administrator).

What integration user permissions are required?

The connector uses a Salesforce integration account to index data. This account must have:

  • API access enabled.

  • Read access to:

    • account

    • Opportunity

    • 取引先責任者

    • Cases

    • Campaigns

  • The following system permissions enabled:

    • View All Users

    • View All Profiles

    • View All Data

What do I need?

以下を実行していることを確認します。

  • Your Salesforce org URL, for example: https://your-domain.my.salesforce.com

  • An Atlassian organization with access to Teamwork Graph connectors

  • A Salesforce admin account to approve OAuth and install the Atlassian Links app

Set up the Salesforce connector

Step 1 - Connect Salesforce to Teamwork Graph (OAuth)

To start setting up the Salesforce connector:

  1. admin.atlassian.com に移動します。複数の組織がある場合は、対象の組織を選択します。

  2. Select Apps, then AI settings, then Rovo.

  3. Under Sites, next to the site you want to connect, select Add connector.

  4. Select Salesforce, then select Next.

  5. Enter a name for the connection.

  6. Configure which objects and fields should be ingested.

  7. データの使用に関する情報を確認して同意します。

  8. Select Authorize Salesforce.

Salesforce opens a new tab. Review and accept the permissions.

Authorize Salesforce

To authorize the connection in Salesforce:

  1. If prompted, enter your Salesforce org URL.

  2. Sign in as your Salesforce admin or integration user.

  3. Review the access requested by the Atlassian Links app.

  4. [許可] を選択します。

After you authorize, Salesforce registers the Atlassian Links connected app. In Atlassian Administration, you now see the Salesforce connector marked as Connected and ready for setup.

To install the Atlassian Links app in Salesforce:

  1. In Salesforce, go to Setup.

  2. In the left sidebar, go to Platform Tools, then Apps, then Connected Apps, then Connected Apps OAuth Usage.

  3. Find Atlassian Links in the list.

  4. Select Install, then follow the prompts.

  5. Confirm that your Salesforce org has Atlassian Links installed and available.

If you don’t see Atlassian Links, make sure you have completed the OAuth connection in Step 1, then wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

次のステップ

After you’ve finish setting up your connection:

  • Verify indexing
Ask Rovo about a specific Salesforce record, such as an account or opportunity, and check that the results match Salesforce.

  • Help your team connect
When people start using Salesforce content in Rovo, they may be prompted to connect their Salesforce account to their Atlassian account before they see results.

  • Connect more tools
Add other connectors so Rovo can answer questions across all your systems.

The Salesforce connector shares the same Salesforce API rate‑limit quota as your other apps. To protect your tenant from hitting Salesforce‑enforced limits, Rovo will stop ingestion if your available API quota is below 50%.

If other applications are actively using the Salesforce API at the same time, they may still consume the remaining quota, which can slow down Rovo ingestion or cause ingestion delays when Salesforce begins throttling requests.
