Allocate users and groups to units
This feature is currently in beta and is gradually rolling out. It may not be available to all organizations at this time.
Who can do this? |
If your organization uses units, use user provisioning allocation policies to decide which units receive the users and groups provisioned from your identity providers. A new unit doesn’t have any users, create a policy to allocate people to it. To get started, consider allocating using an identity provider, email domain, or a group.

Allocate users and groups
Start with one policy and a narrow condition, such as a single group. That way you can check the results before you add more policies.
Policies apply to everyone who matches their conditions. So check your conditions and units before you activate a policy.
To create a policy:
移動 アトラシアンの管理。組織が複数ある場合は、対象の組織を選択します。
Select Security, then Security policies, then Policies.
[ポリシーを作成] を選択します。
Add a name that helps you identify the policy, such as Finance group – Finance unit.
Select allocation type to choose whether the policy adds users or groups.
Add one or more conditions to choose which provisioned users and groups the policy matches:
Identity provider: users and groups from a specific identity provider connection. To apply the policy to only one identity provider, add it as a condition.
Domain: users whose email address uses a specific domain, such as
acme.comGroup name: a group with an exact name
Group name pattern: groups whose names start with, end with or contain a value, such as
emea-
Select one or more destination units. Matching users and groups get added to these units.
Select Activate to start adding users and groups straight away. If you're not ready yet, select Save as draft.
When the policy is active, matching users and groups are added to its destination units. This might take a few minutes. A draft policy doesn't add anyone.
Check and change allocations
After you activate or change a policy, check the users and groups in its destination units. Policy changes affect users and groups already provisioned, not just future syncs, and may take a few minutes to appear.
If a group can’t sync because of a conflict, see Resolve group conflicts when syncing users.
