Assign an app to a policy
Steps to assign an app to a backup policy.
Backup and restore isn’t available in the Atlassian Government environment.
Using Amazon S3 for storing backups is no longer available, except for customers who've used it in the past.
A backup policy is a set of rules that you define to protect your Atlassian data. This includes:
What app to back up
What data (including attachments) to back up
When and how often to run a backup
When you create a backup policy, you can:
assign an app to back up
select entities
set a schedule
All backups are stored in Atlassian storage, and can be restored within 30 days.
You can run backups once or schedule daily or weekly. We provide you with a time slot when your backups will run. Because of concurrency limitations, you can’t select a time of your choice.
