Connect Notion to Rovo
Make your Notion pages searchable alongside your company knowledge.
This connector is only supported in Rovo Search. We're actively working on supporting this connector in Rovo Chat and Agents.
Before you begin
All of Notion’s plans are supported by Rovo, including the free tier.
Only Pages are available to Rovo.
Rovo can only connect to one workspace in Notion.
Rovo will only find content that user setting up the connection has access to. Because of this, we recommend connecting Notion to Rovo using the user in your organisation with access to the broadest set of your Notion pages and teamspaces.
Rovo will always respect permissions. Users will only ever see pages that they already have access to.
Connecting to Notion
To get to the setup screen for Notion:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Settings > Rovo.
Under Activated sites, next to the site you want to connect, select More actions (•••) and select Add connector.
Select Notion and press Next.
Next, to configure Notion:
Enter a name for your Notion connection.
Review the disclaimer.
Select Authorize Notion.
A new tab will open to step you through Notion authorization. You can change the workspace in the top right, if you have more than one. Rovo can only connect to a single workspace.
5. Pick Select pages, and then select all pages and teamspaces you’d like Rovo to have access to.
6. Step through the Notion authorization flow to allow access. Review and accept the permissions to connect. Select Allow.
Next steps
After you’ve finished connecting Notion:
Pages will start to show in Search incrementally over the next few hours.
Your team members will see Notion show up as a filter option in Search. If they haven’t connected to Notion from their Atlassian account, they may be asked to connect before they can see results. This is required so Rovo can make sure your teammates only see files that they already have access to.
Pick the same pages and teamspaces when your teammates connect
As your teammates connect to Notion, they will be asked to confirm which teamspaces and pages they’d like Rovo to have access to. Ensure your teammates select the same ones you selected from Step 5 above, otherwise they won’t be able to see specific results.
3. Depending on the number of files in Notion, it may take some time for all your files to be indexed and appear in Search.
