Connect Asana to Rovo
This connector is only supported in Rovo Search. We're actively working on supporting this connector in Rovo Chat and Agents.
Before you begin
All Asana’s paid plans (Pro, or above) are supported by Rovo.
Only tasks that are on boards in Asana will be available to Rovo.
People will be able to see the tasks they are tagged in even if the task is on a private board.
Make sure you connect Rovo to an Asana account with the broadest level of access, because teammates can only access a subset of tasks available to the connecting account.
Rovo will always respect permissions. Users will only ever see tasks that they already have access to.
Connecting to Asana
To get to the setup screen for Asana:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Settings > Rovo.
Under Activated sites, next to the site you want to connect, select More actions () and select Add connector.
Select Asana and press Next.
Next, to configure Asana:
Enter a name for your Asana connection.
Review the disclaimer.
Select Authorize Asana.
4. A new tab in Asana will open. Read through the permissions, and select Allow.
Next steps
After you’ve finished connecting Asana:
Sheets will start to show in Search incrementally over the next few hours.
Your team members will see Asana show up as a filter option in Search. If they haven’t connected to Asana from their Atlassian account, they may be asked to connect before they can see results. This is required so Rovo can make sure your teammates only see files that they already have access to.
Depending on the number of sheets in Asana, it may take some time for all your sheets to be indexed and appear in Search.
