Connect Adobe Sign to Rovo
Find the Adobe Sign agreements your team needs with ease.
This connector is only supported in Rovo Search. We're actively working on supporting this connector in Rovo Chat and Agents.
Before you begin
You need Adobe Sign Account Administrator to connect to Rovo.
Only agreements are available to Rovo.
Rovo will always respect permissions. Users will only ever see agreements that they are a Sender or Recipient (Approver, Signer).
Setting up Adobe Sign
To connect to Rovo, you’ll need to setup two similar integrations within Adobe Sign:
Administrator integration (steps 4-11)
User integration (steps 12-18).
To start:
Log in to Adobe Sign.
In the URL in your browser, note the part between
secure.
and.adobesign
. For example, if the domain in the URL is secure.na4.adobesign.com, you’ll need thena4
later. We call this the Region.Select Account, and in the right navigation select Acrobat Sign API > API Applications.
Create administrator integration
4. Select the plus icon () in the top right to open the Create screen.
5. Enter a user-friendly Name and Display Name (we recommend adding “admin” to the Name to help identify it). For Domain, leave CUSTOMER
selected. Select Save
.
6. You’ll see your new integration app displayed at the top of the table. Click it select the Configure OAuth for Application link that appears above. You’ll be taken to the Configure OAuth screen.
7. On this form, set the Redirect URI to https://id.atlassian.com/outboundAuth/finish
8. Enable the following scopes, and leave the Modifier dropdown set to account
:
account_read
user_read
agreement_read
library_read
application_read
9. Select Save at the bottom of the form.
10. Click your integration at the top of the table again, and select View/Edit. Copy the Application ID and Client Secrets values. These will be needed later as you Administrator values.
11. Select Cancel from this window.
Create user integration
12. On the API Applications screen, once again select the plus icon () in the top right.
13. Enter a user-friendly Name and Display Name (we recommend adding “User” to the Name to help distinguish from the earlier integration). For Domain, leave CUSTOMER
selected. Select Save
.
14. You’ll see (another) new integration app displayed at the top of the table. Click it select the Configure OAuth for Application link that appears above. You’ll be taken to the Configure OAuth screen.
15. On this form, set the Redirect URI to https://id.atlassian.com/outboundAuth/finish
16. Once again enable the following scopes, but this time change the Modifer dropdown set to self
:
account_read
user_read
agreement_read
library_read
application_read
Double-check at this point you selected self
for the Modifier dropdown for these scopes.
17. Select Save at the bottom of the form.
18. Click your integration at the top of the table again, and select View/Edit. Copy the Application ID and Client Secrets values. These will be needed later as User values.
Connecting to Adobe Sign
To get to the setup screen for Adobe Sign:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Settings > Rovo.
Under Activated sites, next to the site you want to connect, select More actions () and select Add connector.
Select Adobe Sign and press Next.
Enter a name for your Adobe Sign connection.
In the Region field, enter the value you noted from the URL in Step 2.
For Administrator Client ID and Administrator Client Secret, enter the Client ID and Secret you copied in Step 10.
For User Client ID and User Client Secret, enter the Client ID and Secret you copied in Step 18.
Review and agree to the disclaimer, and select Authorize Adobe Sign.
Read through the consent screen and select Allow Access.
Next steps
After you’ve finished Connecting Adobe Sign:
Agreements will start to show in Search incrementally over the next few hours.
Your team members will see Adobe Sign show up as a filter option in Search. If they haven’t connected to Adobe Sign from their Atlassian account, they may be asked to connect before they can see results. This is required so Rovo can make sure your teammates only see agreements they have sent or received.
Depending on the number of agreements in Adobe Sign, it may take some time for all your Adobe Sign agreements to be indexed and appear in Search.
