You can use sandboxes to trial new apps, or experiment with apps that already have a paid subscription in your production environments, for free. How billing works for Marketplace apps
Atlassian platform apps are included by default.
We don’t support all Marketplace apps in sandboxes yet.
Manage Rovo
Rovo is not available in the Atlassian Government environment.
If you have the improved billing experience and an active or trial Rovo license, you can enable Rovo on your sandbox site. Read about test driving Rovo
Add Marketplace apps
If you cancel the subscription of a Marketplace app in production or uninstall it, we’ll revoke access to that app in your sandbox.
If you have any expired Marketplace apps on an offline sandbox, you can’t replace the offline sandbox with a new one until you remove them.
To add a Marketplace app to your sandbox:
Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Apps > Sandboxes.
In the table, find and select the sandbox where you want to add the app.
From the navigation on the left, select Apps > Explore more apps.
Search for the Marketplace app and and add it to your sandbox.
