What is Insights?
Insights is a data analysis and management tool that brings conversational analytics and governed data context into the Teamwork Graph, along with work context, which includes definitions, lineage, permissions, and controls.
With Insights, you can:
Ask questions about the data in your organization in plain English and get SQL-backed answers.
Create charts and dashboards to visualize your data without needing to know SQL.
Manage data context by creating and maintaining metadata, including catalogs, data-flow lineage between systems, glossaries, and ownership tracking.
Enterprise admin and users of Analytics will notice that the app is now Insights. You will not lose any of your existing work or data. Your dashboards, charts, and embedded smart links will remain unchanged.
You can now enable new Rovo-powered features that combine work and data context to provide reliable answers, foster a shared understanding of data, and help create dependable dashboards for your team.
Key features
AI-powered analytics
Insights is the analytics layer that combines data and metrics to create shared definitions, lineage, and controls. This data context powers Rovo, enabling it to answer your analytical questions, write and execute SQL on your behalf, explain data assets and business terms, and surface relevant tables, dashboards, and documentation.
So go ahead and ask questions about your data in plain English, no SQL required.
Create a shared data foundation
Once you set up Insights and connect your data sources, it will automatically sync metadata, such as table names, column schemas, descriptions, and tags, into a searchable catalog. Instead of hunting across systems, you and your team can find the right data asset in seconds. You can also add curated glossary terms and business definitions to improve your data context.

Connect to data sources for deeper insights
Connect multiple third-party data sources to access all your data assets, metadata, and metrics in one place. This way, you and your team find the information you need faster and more efficiently.
