Permissions and work-level security in Free plans

The Free plan for Jira is for small teams of fewer than 10 people who may be just getting started with Jira. Project permissions, roles, and work-level security aren't configurable when you're on the Free plan. To take advantage of Jira's powerful project permission management features, upgrade your plan.

The only permissions- or security-related restriction for Jira Service Management Free plans is work-level security. If your Jira Service Management site is on the Free plan, you won't be able to set the security level for individual work items (requests).

Free プランで利用を開始した場合

If you've always had the Free plan for Jira, everyone who can access that product is a project admin. It isn't possible to change the permission scheme, edit roles, or add a work item security scheme.

Standard または Premium プランから Free プランに変更した場合

If you change from a paid plan to Jira Free, project permissions, roles, and work item security schemes are locked in their current state and you'll need to upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan to change them. If you had previously allowed anonymous access to projects, that anonymous access will be removed when you change to a Free plan. Jira won't change any other permissions, roles, or security schemes, as this could reveal project information that shouldn't be shared with certain users.

Jira Data Center から Free プランへの移行

If you have existing project permissions set in Jira Data Center and you then migrate from Jira Data Center to a Free version of Jira, your project permissions, roles, and work item security schemes on the new cloud site are locked in their current state and you'll need to upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan to change them. Jira won't change any permissions, roles, or security schemes, as this could reveal project information that shouldn't be shared with certain users.

継承された Jira Work Management プラン

Jira Software と Jira Service Management は、Jira Work Management を基に構築されています。Jira Software または Service Management のライセンスをお持ちの場合は、ビジネス チーム用のプロジェクト テンプレートを含む Jira Work Management もご利用いただけます。継承される Jira Work Management プランは、他の Jira Cloud 製品のプランに応じて異なります。

If all of your other Jira Cloud products are on the Free plan, you'll have Jira Work Management Free and won't be able to edit project permissions, roles, and work-level security. If you have any Jira Cloud product on Standard or Premium, you'll have Jira Work Management Standard (there's no Jira Work Management Premium plan) with its advanced permission configuration.
