Permissions and work-level security in Free plans

The Free plan for Jira is for small teams of fewer than 10 people who may be just getting started with Jira. Space permissions, roles, and work-level security aren't configurable when you're on the Free plan. To take advantage of Jira's powerful space permission management features, upgrade your plan.

The only permissions- or security-related restriction for Jira Service Management Free plans is work-level security. If your Jira Service Management site is on the Free plan, you won't be able to set the security level for individual work items (requests).

Free プランで利用を開始した場合

If you've always had the Free plan for Jira, everyone who can access that app is a space admin. It isn't possible to change the permission scheme, edit roles, or add a work item security scheme.

Standard または Premium プランから Free プランに変更した場合

If you change from a paid plan to Jira Free, space permissions, roles, and work item security schemes are locked in their current state and you'll need to upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan to change them. If you had previously allowed anonymous access to spaces, that anonymous access will be removed when you change to a Free plan. Jira won't change any other permissions, roles, or security schemes, as this could reveal space information that shouldn't be shared with certain users.

Jira Data Center から Free プランへの移行

If you have existing space permissions set in Jira Data Center and you then migrate from Jira Data Center to a Free version of Jira, your space permissions, roles, and work item security schemes on the new cloud site are locked in their current state and you'll need to upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan to change them. Jira won't change any permissions, roles, or security schemes, as this could reveal space information that shouldn't be shared with certain users.

継承された Jira Work Management プラン

Jira Software and Jira Service Management are built on top of Jira Work Management. If you have a license for either Jira Software or Service Management, you also get Jira Work Management with space templates made specifically for business teams. The Jira Work Management plan you inherit depends on what plans you have for your other Jira Cloud apps.

If all of your other Jira Cloud apps are on the Free plan, you'll have Jira Work Management Free and won't be able to edit space permissions, roles, and work-level security. If you have any Jira Cloud app on Standard or Premium, you'll have Jira Work Management Standard (there's no Jira Work Management Premium plan) with its advanced permission configuration.
